Experience is what you get when you don’t get what you want
I really appreciate this quote. I first hear this quote when Professor Randy Pausch was giving his last lecture about the lessons of life. He was suffering from pancreatic cancer.
About Professor Randy Pausch (Born 23 October, 1960)

Randy Pausch was a professor of Computer Science Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania. He was fighting pancreatic cancer. He wanted to raise awareness and research funding on this disease. He gave a must-see lecture entitled “The Last Lecture: Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams” Millions of people worldwide has seen this video on YouTube and led to other media appearances. After this impacting lecture, he co-authored a book based on the lecture itself “The Last Lecture” which becomes a New York Times Bestseller.
I have researched on this great man. He has provided ways of how to advance in life also there are so many hurdles. He had only some days to live but still he had a smile on his face just because he had adopted principles which really reflect the best way to live life. The career of this successful man has been a dream for him which he had been purchasing. He obtained his PhD which was a honor for him. His last lecture states many principles which can been integrated in life to make a better living and to realise the essence of life.
Below is the video available on YouTube about one of his lectures. I would strongly recommend you to go through this video because it will be really fruitful to do so:
