End Of World 2012: What Does The Bible, Vedas And Quran Say About It?

November 19, 2009

Is 2012 the End of the World?

An ancient Mayan calendar mysteriously ends at the winter solstice in the year 2012. Is this a sign that they Mayans knew that December 2012 is the end of human histor? The History Channel, Newsweek magazine, major movie studios, booksellers and hundreds of Web sites are fanning the 2012 craze. Should you be building a shelter and stowing away food for the coming disaster?

The predictions are of total devastation! According to some forecasts entire cities will be destroyed by enormous tsunamis, earthquakes and Category 5 hurricanes; meteors will wain down fiery death from heaven; and human history will come to a violent end.

Other 2012 scenarios picture a wonderful change in human consciousness and the ushering in of the New Age of Aquarius. John Amjor Jenkins, author of Maya Cosmogenesis, describes the coming New Age in this way: “Around the year we call 2012 a large chapter in human history will be coming to an end. All the values and assumptions of the previous World Age will expire, and a new phase of human growth will commence.”

A Biblical Analysis

So what does the book of Revelation reveal about the end of the world?

Revelation was written toward the end of the first century by the apostle John, apparently the last of Jesus’ original 12 disciples. It is a divinely inspired prophecy predominantly concerned with the events preceding the second coming of Jesus Christ. John’s vision reveal that before Christ returns humanity will suffer devastating wars, disease pandemics, religious strife and famine on a global scale. Many of these happenings are trends we see announced in the daily headlines and newscasts today.

Watching your world teeter on economy chaos can leave you anxious. Don’t despair! In the Olivet Prophecy Jesus declared that He will return to save humanity from total destruction (Matthew 24:22). Revelation tells us about the time of deliverance Jesus predicted.

Humanity is not going to be annihilated in a great fireball caused by asteroids or exploding atomic weapons. The Bible clearly shows that humanity is not going to experience extinction in 2012. Sometime in the future, Jesus Christ will return to save humanity from destruction.  Between now and then, you can live in hopeful anticipation of that day by turning the control of your life over to your Creator.

Analysis From Vedic Scriptures

The Vedic scriptures are the spiritual literature of the ancient Indian culture and the oldest scriptures known to mankind. They consist of a huge collection of books written in the Sanskrit language that includes material (mundane), religious (ritualistic), and spiritual(monotheistic) knowledge. The word “Vedic” is derived from the Sanskrit word Veda, meaning knowledge or revelation.

There is a great deal of propaganda afoot that something dramatic will happen in 2012 and maybe the world will end.

We have information from the Vedic scriptures about the nature of this material world. Very extensive information is given about the cycles this world goes through over and over again. It is not that we are in uncharted territory. These cycles repeat, just like every year we have the four seasons. The cycle of the seasons repeats over and over again. Similarly the cycle of the four ages or yugas also repeats over and over again. As we know each of the seasons will last for three months and then the next season will start these four ages or yugas also repeat in a very systematic way.

There are four yugas, Satya-yuga – the golden age, lasting 1,728,000 years; Treta-yuga – the silver age, lasting 1,296,000 years; Dvapara-yuga – the bronze age, lasting 864,000 years; and finally Kali-yuga – the iron age of machines and quarrel, lasting 432,000 years.

We are in the final age, Kali-yuga. So in one sense you could call the end of Kali-yuga the “end of the world.” But actually Kali-yuga is no more the end of the world than winter is the end of the seasons. After the winter there will be another spring. At the end of winter everything looks dead. But with the sunshine of spring everything becomes rejuvenated and new life springs up all over the planet. So at the end of this Kali-yuga everything will be very baron and devastated. However that is just like the end of winter. Just like the end of winter means the beginning of a new spring season, there will be another Satya-yuga or golden age and everything in the universe will be rejuvenated again.

There will be some big devastation at the end of the Kali-yuga. But we have just started the Kali-yuga. This age will last for 432,000 years and so far we have only passed 5,000 years of it. So that means that Kali-yuga still has another 427,000 years to run. It becomes obvious that the world is not going to end in 2012!

According To Quran

The holy book, Quran is one of the most respected pieces of literature, for its scientific approach and accurate calculations about the future. The Quran has stated that the world will come to an end and there will be signs to show that the end is coming. The first being, “splitting of the moon” which has happened, when parts of the moon were brought back to earth for study. The second being the discovery of the Quran’s mathematical code. This has also already taken place. The third, the creature “Made from the earth, it alerts the people that they have been oblivious to their Creator.” This “creature” is believed to be the computer. The fourth being, appearance of God’s messenger. This messenger to inform the world of the last of all the holy scriptures. This prophecy was fulfilled in the month of Ramadan 1408. Seven such prophecies being fulfilled, mark the certainty of the “day of judgment”. It becomes clear that 2012 is not going to be the end of the world.

So Is The World Going To End In 2012 ?

These three different religions show that the world is not going to end in 2012. Umpteen statements can be found on the net, some validating the end of world predicition whereas others contradicting this cataclysmic prediction. I have tried to analyse this prediction according to the three major religions in the world and all shows that the end of world is NOT in 2012. However, the search does not stop here as there are many other reasons which provide concrete arguments on the high probability of this end. The best thing to do is to embark in a surf adventure on the net on the end of world 2012.

Let’s all pray that our Mother Earth, which we call our home, be bestowed with a long and healthy life where we can all breathe peacefully and where we can proudly state that our first and global religion is that we are Humans.

End Of World 2012: Myth Or Reality?

November 19, 2009

21 December 2012 is the only date in history yet which is signicant to so many cultures and religions as the prediction of the end of world. If you just bring your fingers on your keyboard and type ” End of world 2012″ on your homepage, the search will end up in umpteen results as compared to any other searches. This issue has gained utmost importance in a really short lapse of time. The internet has been filled with this content. The question remain now ” Is the world really going to end on 21 December 2012?” This question remains without any answer for some while others try to justify it.

First and foremost, the Mayan calendar ends on the Gregorian calendar date of December 21, 2012, which most people believe is the total end of civilization, as we know it, while others believe it is simply a change of enlightenment in this current time. Many theories have sprung up about this end date, ranging from the laughable, to the religious, to the scientific.

The real cause of climate changes, volcanoes activity, intensification of the seismic activity etc., is the planet Eris’s getting closer to our solar system, intermediary named 2003 – UB – 313, and known in Antiquity under various names as: Nibiru, Marduk, Nemesis, Hercolubus, the Gods Planet, the Planet of the Empire, the Planet of the Cross or the Red Planet.

Biblical prophets as well as Catholic and other Christians scholars have for a long time written about the “End Times” and the second coming of Jesus Christ (Quetzalcoatl) to establish the New Jerusalem. What is not generally known is that many of the Old and New Testament Biblical prophecies of the “End Times” correlate amazingly with the religious beliefs of the Mayas and other Indigenous civilizations of the Western Hemisphere. These similarities are more apparent when one analyses the “End Times” account of St. John in the last chapter of the Bible called Revelation and the account of the “Fin de los Tiempos” in the Popol Vuh which is considered to be the Mayan (as well as the Mexica/Aztec) Bible.

Albert Einstein once said : “If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man.”

Apocalyptic for sure. We haven’t reached that point yet, but some worrisome indicators suggest dramatic drops in the bee population of the US are likely to impact crop production. This is not a small agricultural sector that is being impacted either. In the US bees pollinate more than $14 billion worth of seeds and crops each year.

The disappearing bee phenomena isn’t restricted to the US. In Europe countries are experiencing varying degrees of what investigators describe as “colony collapse disorder” (or CCD). Countries effected include Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece. However the most serious losses have occurred in the US. On the West Coast keepers have seen bee population losses in the 30 to 60 percent range. On the East Coast and Texas it gets as high as 70%. These are catastrophic drops for an industry that considers around a 20% population decline to be an off-season norm.

The numerous theories on the end of world 2012 all give an indication about the probability of the cataclysmic events on Earth on 21 December 2012. To believe it or not depends on you and your research. This issue is demanding serious attention. Open your web browser and embark on this exciting adventure. Watch out for the video clips on this prediction and be amazed to see the numerous theories on this predicted doomsday. It’s your turn to decide whether it is a myth for you or a reality.

May God bless our planet with a long and healthy life.

Stop Killing Whales And Dolphins!

November 8, 2009

Yesterday, when going through some videos on YouTube, I came across an outrageous video which shows dolphin/whales killing in Faroe Island of Denmark. The video shows how brutally people are massacring dolphins/whales. I was just shocked after watching this video and asked myself the question “How can people be so heartless?”

whale-killing2

You can all find the videos posted on YouTube by searching for “Dolphin Killing Denmark”. You will find many videos related to this search words. This cruelty is not a simple problem; it is a matter of urgent concern!

image007-300x200

Why the state and other organizations are doing nothing to stop this brutality. If nothing is done to stop this, humanity will make a huge step to their destruction through these sinful acts and I am convinced enough that God will surely punish those people slaughtering dolphins/whales. In tales and even in reality, dolphins are assumed to be the friend of man. But mankind is giving them such a dreadful reward for their friendships. It is simply unbelievable!

3049364690_6a110a267e_o-300x199

Through my research on the net, the fact that this brutal and bloody slaughter of dolphins/whales are still carried yearly in the Faroe Islands. Dolphins and whales killing must be stopped at any cost! It is an insult to life which is God-gifted! May it be whales or dolphins, such slaughtering is simply inhuman!

pic2

It is absolutely incredible that there is nothing to prevent this barbaric act that is committed against the pilot whales, a dolphin that has the intelligent approach to people out of pure curiosity.

japan_whaling

It’s a bloody tradition which must be stopped! I sincerely hope that someone in the world has the authority to stop this act! If yes, then stop it now!

calderons-3

This same dreadful act is also practiced in Japan and some other countries. The net contains umpteens stuffs related to this inhuman act. I would advise you all to go for a surf related to this topic and discourage this practice through blogging, create groups against whaling on social networking sites and creates awareness about this topic. Bring this topic more public so that people can realise this practice which is sinful in all ways.

Stop Killing Whales001

Majority wins! If we contribute to bring this topic wider on the net, this can have an effect to motivate authorities and organizations to stop this cruel act! Everything starts from you…spare some time and work against this act! The whales and dolphins need us! Let’s help them to preserve the system of nature.

MGI National Divali Show 2009

October 20, 2009

The National Divali Show 2009 held at MGI and organized by La Fronde Club of The University Of Mauritius, was indeed a mega hit.  The performance by all participants were praise-worthy on that great day. The show started at around 12.45 to end at around 18.00 with a full and supporting auditorium.

I want to seize this opportunity to thank all organizers for trusting new and emerging artists performing on stage for the first time and it was a hit. The different items presented on that day were all well organized. The Ramayana Sketch (Ram Leela) was very much appreciated by the public in general.

We all worked hard for the show and the appreciation and respect we earned from the public was the fruit of our hardwork. I still recall all the days of rehearsals, all the new and best friends I got, the jokes we shared, the chat we had when we were all together and all the moments we all spent together happily. These will be ever-lasting memories.

Here are some pictures of some items presented on that day:

IMGA0538IMGA0526IMGA0255IMGA0721As a dance performer of the show, I really enjoyed all the dances I participated in. Dance has become a great passion for me since then. I have uploaded some videos of the show in my Facebook profile. You can all add me in Facebook to view the videos. Find my Facebook link on the right of my blog page.

Lack Of Respect In Our Buses

September 28, 2009

This is a serious issue which I want to address in this post. The word “Respect” has died years back in our local transport. This little island, Mauritius, the so-called heaven is not the real heaven in this contemporary world. We are advancing technologically but we are not able to know thyself.

question

A concrete example is the lack of respect in our buses nowadays. I resolved to write on this issue after today’s happening. I was traveling in a bus to Port-Louis along with my cousin. It was around 11 A.M. and the bus was full with passengers.

At a particular bus-stop, some guys entered the bus. The quiet atmosphere in the bus was disrupted at that instance itself as these guys were making much noise in the bus. Foul languages, shameless jokes and bitter words were all that could be heard from the back of the bus. No actions were taken from the conductors, drivers and even the passengers. I was also at the back of the bus. I was not able to hear all these harsh words which were disrupting the atmosphere in the bus. I rebelled against them and it is true that actions do speak louder than words as they were just tight-lipped. Not even a single voice was heard!

42

What I want to conclude and to make everyone realize is that actions come from us! In the bus, you may have your mother, father, brother, sister, friends, or any other relatives traveling. Just ponder over the situation in the bus! How will you feel? You feel like raged isn’t it! Sure, because they are related to you but for the sake of mankind, think of all those who share the same relationship with others. We have to discourage this lack of respect in our buses. Just ignoring the situation is not the solution.

lightbulb idea

I want to suggest some good ways to take actions on the spot:

  1. Call the urgent police services (999)
  2. Request the driver/conductor to stop the bus at the nearest police station
  3. Talk to the people in the bus, seek their corporation and take actions against people disrupting the peace in the bus
  4. If you are confident enough, then commit to yourself and rebel against them

These simple actions will discourage this evilness in our buses. Restoring respect will not be easy. It is not a simple process but it surely starts with a single step. It starts from YOU! Don’t just sit and listen. Stand up and act!

And if you have ever participated in this act of trouble-making in buses, then think over it again and never repeat this shameful act which is a matter of concern these days.

It has become a culture in our little island. Our first religion, when asked, must be that of Humanity!

Friends, don’t just read and ignore this. Please pass on this post so that it can create good awareness in our little island. Remember: Losers LET it happen; Winners MAKE it happen!

Think on this issue, think of your relatives in the bus, think of every citizen as related to you by the sacred bond of mankind, think and believe in yourself….REBELLION!

JHSRunningRebelLogo

This lack of respect must cease! We have to unite our thoughts towards global peace and to focus on restoring respect, may it be buses or anywhere in this world which concerns mankind!

Thanks to read and to pass on this post.

Photography Flows In My Veins…

September 18, 2009

IMGA0841

Photography is life itself for me. Time is such a precious commodity and capturing it is the greatest challenge as a human.

Life after death is not a myth anymore and it can be validated through photography. We live through our pictures eternally.

Capturing it in the right way, the right time, in the right angle is what matters.

I want to promote photography as a wonderful art. It is not only about expression of feelings but about expressing oneself completely. Lifetime is so precious but unfortunately, it comes to an end. With photography, there is no end to life. You continue to live through all your photos. The expression in each picture differs.

Don’t let your camera idle on the table. Connect to the internet, research on photographic styles. Switch on your camera and get to work. Start this wonderful journey of capturing time. Capture yourself as from now and you shall, remain immortal through photography. It is my passion and my way of life…

My Passion: Photography and Cinematography

September 10, 2009

Life incorporates umpteen field of interest. I have always tried to make the first step in various fields to have a better understanding of what it is like.

From all the leisure, hobbies and activities, I can assign my highest priority to Photography and Cinematography.

Photography

It is not just about holding a camera in the hands! Photography is an art for me. It is a great source of inspiration. People have reached to the highest level of invention and advancement but they have never been able to go back in the past and to move forward in the future. This is impossible for everyone. But as a passionate of photography, it is possible. Photography is about capturing time which will live forever. Time is ever-fleeting. Life is temporary. Don’t lose it. Capture yourself in the memory of this existence. This whole planet is like a great garden where we are all like flowers. We are such flowers that hold fragrance and bloom magnificently. We can’t lose this precious gift that God gave us – Life. Tomorrow, we are here or not, our memories will live forever and will be an example for others to capture their wonderful life which is a golden gift of God.

Photography is not only about focusing on the outer world, but its greatest challenge is about capturing the inner emotions. Capturing our own emotions is a great challenge for me. I never mingle photography and modeling. There is a clear difference between both.

I never stop with photographs as they are. Only looking for the right angle, right expression, right look, right resolution, right contrast, right brightness, right environment, right lighting and right person is not photography for me! I give life to all my pictures through editing. Editing is an art in itself though it is a step-to-step guide by software. But the imagination to fit the right picture in the right place is of utmost requirement!

Here I present some of my pictures with editing:

Kevin’s Pictures (Common Nickname: Kevin TheKing)

This picture has been taken a long time back. In this one, you can notice that the real background has been removed and a white background has been applied to match the color of the shirt and thus, making the picture more lively.

sampa12c79f2d8d841c6

I have a long list of collection of pictures. I try to reflect different things in different pictures. In these pictures, you will be able FINto notice the varying mood swings and emotions.

Cinematography

As a passionate of acting and creativity, I have many big and concrete projects which I want to realise. I have to opt for the right way to reach them. I love Music. Music is in me. I love the screen. I love the camera. I love creativity. We just need ” Action….Cut”. I have lots of ideas of movie-making. This is my passion. I am willing to share this with you all.

Cinematography is a way of expression for me, a way of revolutionizing things, a way of seeing things differently or simple a way of life! Photography and Cinematography can be mixed together to produce creativity on the screen.

All I wish is that my projects become true with time!

Road Accident: Serious Thinking Required!

September 8, 2009

This is too much on our roads. Such an early morning, in our little island Mauritius, we have witnessed such a deadly accident.

What is meant by road safety then?

There has been 4 deaths confirmed till now. The bus is a CNT bus which has crashed agaist a truck. My post is not about how the accident but WHY the accident happened!!!

Can you imagine friends, some people leaving early for work with much hope to bring some income at the end of the month for their family and all of a sudden confirmed death cases are heard. Who is responsible for this? The people who are sacrificing everything for the sake of their family or the negligence on our roads today?

You will find the answer! We have been hearing of road developments since time ago but it has been just in words, nothing is seen in action! Today, this accident gave us a warning that tomorrow it can be our turn! When will the state realize that road safety is the most crucial issue after health!

Here are some pictures of the terrible accident of this early morning:

(Motorway between Port-Louis to Reduit)

Image484 (2) Sitting idle and mourning over this accident will bring us nothing except from another risk of such a terrible accident. It is not possible for us all to rebel against road development authority or other responsible. But we can certainly help to blog and to share information on road safety. Share your own post and increase the awareness that vehicles need to be more responsible while driving. More traffic officers and police officers must be on the road to control the traffic. We can see only one constable at the start of the motorway, one in the mid and some others at the end. IS THIS THE RIGHT WAY ??!! The Government need to invest more in road safety. Prevention is always better than cure. So, if any member of the government body is reading this post, then I hope you will be touched to recommend such actions.

Image481 (2)

There are lots of issues also associated with this road accident. Stop and Think!

Friends, help in sharing this information to others. Help in increasing the road safety in our little island. It is heaven indeed and we can’t let our heaven become a hell. So, it starts from YOU! Help in this awareness campaign. Thanks.

Blogging : A Passion, A Need or A Culture?

September 4, 2009

I was deciphering on the above question. We can see an expansion of the virtual world in this contemporary age where the world has finally become a global village. Communication has been eased in all the ways. Apart from the various delight of the virtual world including social networking sites, discussion forums and education platform, we can see a rise in the world of blogging.

BLOG

I have been pondering on whether blogging is a passion, a need or a culture for those who indulge in this interest. The number of internet users have seen a very high increase in the past few years. Technology has enabled global communication. For me, blogging is a way of self-expression and is my passion. Blogging helps me to share what I think with people around the world and to assess the feasibility of my ideas through feedbacks of visitors.

Many people indulge in blogging because they face peer pressure and they unwillingly need to sign up for a blog space where they post out what is on their mind.  Does this really achieve quality in the content of the post? The answer would be NO because the blogger will not have a commitment in his blog activities.

stress

On the other hand, some bloggers find it a Need to blog because they want to make an impact of their ideas in the world. They want to secure a share of their voice in the world. In other words, they maintain democracy. A blog enhances democracy as it promotes freedom of expression. The need to blog can often be seen in the virtual space as many bloggers attempt to set up surveys, petitions and other revolution.

revolution

We can also notice other blogger who love to blog and blog out of passion. Blogging has become a culture online. A culture which is about sharing of ideas. Together we can think and make an impact. The ideas through a blog is worth if it is fair. I want to encourage all those who have never blog and who are visiting this site, to join the blogging space and to get a right of expression in the world. Your ideas can help people!

Best Regards

How To Fight H1N1 Virus ?

August 20, 2009

All around the globe, we can see the increasing number of flu victims. This is causing a real panic in the whole world.

BUT THERE IS NOTHING TO WORRY!

idea_bulb

Prevention is better than cure! Following this adage, it becomes clear that it is better to employ good strategies to avoid the H1N1 virus. On hearing the word “H1N1 Virus”, people gets worried, they become panic-stricken and a real turmoil initiates in their mind. Why this stir in emotions? Why do you fear when you know that every problem has a solution? Why do you listen to a particular case and become hopeless? Why don’t you try to gather real facts about this flu? Why don’t you build a thorough understanding about this flu?

To shed light on these questions in your mind, I have prepared this post after measurable and achievable research. First and foremost, I would like to re-quote what Dr. Navin Ramgoolam has said “No need to panic!” These words are motivating indeed and he has a good grounds to state this sentence!

Prepare yourself mentally to fight this virus. This is your first weapon. Umpteen cases of flu has recovered naturally. You know why? Because those people who recovered, had  strong mindset and were positive that they can fight the flu! So get into this mindset! This is your starting point!

Descartes_mind_and_body

“Well Started Is Half Done!”

If you are now convinced that every problem has a solution and after having adopted the right mindset, get ready to embark on some more enlightening and convincing facts about this flu. Carry out some research on your own to develop the right mindset. Find out that this flu can be combated!

Stay calm and practice these 10 effective prevention tips.

focus_groups
1. Wash your hands frequently
Use the antibacterial soaps to cleanse your hands. Wash them often, at least 15 seconds and rinse with running water.

2. Get enough sleep
Try to get 8 hours of good sleep every night to keep your immune system in top flu-fighting shape.

3. Keep hydrated

Drink 8 to10 glasses of water each day to flush toxins from your system and maintain good moisture and mucous production in your sinuses.

4. Boost your immune system
Keeping your body strong, nourished, and ready to fight infection is important in flu prevention. So stick with whole grains, colorful vegetables, and vitamin-rich fruits. ( Check out my post on Moringa – The world’s richest nutrient tree)

5. Keep informed
The government is taking necessary steps to prevent the pandemic and periodically release guidelines to keep the pandemic away. Please make sure to keep up to date on the information and act in a calm manner.

6. Avoid alcohol
Apart from being a mood depressant, alcohol is an immune suppressant that can actually decrease your resistance to viral infections like swine flu. So stay away from alcoholic drinks so that your immune system may be strong.

7. Be physically active
Moderate exercise can support the immune system by increasing circulation and oxygenating the body. For example brisk walking for 30-40 minutes 3-4 times a week will significantly perk up your immunity. Yoga is one of the best way to ensure good health!

8. Keep away from sick people
Flu virus spreads when particles dispersed into the air through a cough or sneeze reach someone else’s nose. So if you have to be around someone who is sick, try to stay a few feet away from them and especially, avoid physical contact.

9. Know when to get help
Consult your doctor if you have a cough and fever and follow their instructions, including taking medicine as prescribed.

10. Avoid crowded areas

Try to avoid unnecessary trips outside. Moreover, avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread this way.

After having gone through this post, I am sure that you are much more convinced to face this flu. Please share this information to all your friends!
